{"id":453,"date":"2019-08-31T15:49:00","date_gmt":"2019-08-31T15:49:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/10.0.0.40\/LostInPlace\/?p=453"},"modified":"2020-09-17T19:28:38","modified_gmt":"2020-09-17T19:28:38","slug":"day-141-8-31-19-my-first-slackpack","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.goodpeeps.com\/ProbablyLost\/day-141-8-31-19-my-first-slackpack\/","title":{"rendered":"Day 141 Rawlins Slackpack"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I had the Econolodge breakfast with Gaucho and said goodbye to my friend.\u00a0 He was heading out for Encampment today, but I have to hike the highway back 14 miles to cover the section that I hitched yesterday.\u00a0 I left most of my gear at the front desk and got started a little after 8:00.\u00a0 I hiked north back to the Mineral X road where I got the ride into town yesterday.  This completed my continuous footsteps all the way to Rawlins.  Now all I had to do is hitch back to Rawlins (for the second time).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When I got to the Mineral X road there was a girl (forgot her name) who was just coming out of the desert and also wanted to slackpack to Rawlins.
